These decorative kitchen hoods come in several different designs and sizes. All our models are manufactured in one piece. Our largest range hood is the Josephine ornate R-48. With a beautiful carved mantel its lifting weight is only 280 pounds, roughly a quarter of the weight of a similar cast stone cement unit. In fact some of the more traditional wood range hood would weight that much. With the proprietary system that Euro Cast Design developed, we are able to offer the consumer for the first time a real stone hood that will fit in 36? wall space.

Available for 8, 9 and 10 foot tall ceilings we have the ability to customize the unit?s height if needed. Customize these kitchen hoods is easy. Although there is only one color available (natural blond travertine) you can change its color buy using translucent water base latex glazes. These glazes will not mask the texture and the feel of stone. Making your own glaze is simple. Add more or less pigment or liquid tint of your choice so you obtain and control your own color scheme. Remember that you can always add or darken a color more easily then lightened it.

You can also incorporate other plant-on decorative elements such as relief tiles or mosaic. We had a customer add an inlay of mosaic with metal coated accents tile. Of course you could always commission Euro Cast Design to do a one of a kind carved relief range hood to your proper specification.
